Hypermobility Management Workshop – HMSA and Hannah Ensor, Youth Patron @ All Saints' Youth and Community Hall
Feb 25 @ 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Hypermobility management workshop: A flexible approach

This HMSA event is run and organised by HMSA Youth Patron and HSD ambassador, Hannah Ensor, this will include short, interactive sessions covering pacing, pain, exercise, and communication – looking at things that can help us to live well with our bendy bodies.

Tickets will cost £25 for non-full HMSA Members and £15 for full HMSA members. Please note that the additional £10 will be refunded via the HMSA shop, once membership is confirmed. There are 50 tickets for this event.

Hannah lives with POTS and hypermobility spectrum disorder, so the course is about pacing in practice rather than theory, and will include group discussions (which people can join in with as much or as little as they are comfortable with).

The course will be suitable for people aged 16 years old and above who have a hypermobility syndrome (and their family members over 16) – including the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, Marfan syndrome, Stickler syndrome etc, and will focus on the management of the hypermobility aspects of HMSs.

Free drinks and snacks will be available during breaks.

Hannah will be pacing throughout the course – and may sit, stand, lie down etc. creating an ideal environment for all attendees to practice pacing. Feel free to bring pillows, cushions, heat packs, etc as required.
