Residential Weekend 2003 - South Wales

Letter from the organisers!

Hi Everyone!

Wow what a weekend, such a lot of people and I think everyone found it beneficial. So many positive coments came to me on the day and afterwards. It was lovely to hear success stories from the weekend.

I personally know one child who went back to school the day after the weekend, after three months out of school because the HMS had got a grip. But, thanks to the help and encouragement from everyone (one physio in particular - without dropping names!), got this child going again. That's what its all about!

A big thanks to everyone who helped out, but I would like, in particular to thank our chaps who worked so hard but may not have got a mention. There was taxi man Terry who covered 170 miles - no wonder I didn't see him! Simon, our camera man, who did a great job of getting everyone's best side - hard work indeed! The trio who helped with all those shoes and loads of boxes which had to be carried out to the cars afterwards. Thank you to Simon Evans, Graham Cossons and not to forget our two young chaps, Julian and David. It was their first time too - a big hand to them.

As for me I had one disappointment, I didn't get time to talk to all the new faces and swap stories - so get in touch and tell me all about yourselves.

Looking forward to the next one!
