Research Project – University of West Scotland

Posted By Alan Hakim, February 21, 2014

Gemma Stevens is a PhD student at the University of the West of Scotland. She is interested in the role of learning and the experience of living with chronic illness.  She is looking at the types of learning that have worked well for patients when learning about their condition and how they have learned to live effectively with their condition.

Gemma would be keen to attend support group meetings to allow members to have an opportunity to ask questions about recruitment of patients to the study. Members cannot just self-nominate as they need to be fully consented and formally assessed for their eligibility first.

Click here if you would like to read more about the study and how to contact Gemma.
