The Multi-disciplinary care web:
There is a broad 'care web' of health and social care professionals who may need to be involved in in the care of hypermobile patients in your area. Not all patients will need all specialisms, but it is likely that over time, professionals familiar with hypermobility syndromes in all these areas will be needed. The HMSA can support the development of the skills and knowledge needed to support hypermobile patients in each of these areas.
The EDS and JHS toolkit for schools is a useful resource for schools seeking to understand hypermobility: School toolkit for JHS and EDS - School Toolkit for EDS and JHS (theschooltoolkit.org)
