About the Event
The session will be led by Roxani Eleni Garefalaki. Originally from Athens, Roxani is now an experienced Alexander Technique teacher based in London. She is also a Tai Chi and QiGong instructor, director and performance artist.
In this introductory workshop on the Alexander Technique, Roxani will share her experience in easing hypermobility symptoms and help us discover how to return our body to its natural state of balance. Together we will learn ways to become mindful of muscular and mental tension, avoid dislocations and other hypermobility symptoms, recover from injuries and retain balance of body, emotion and mind.
The session will include:
- A brief introduction from Roxani and more about her personal story
- What the Alexander Technique is and its benefits to a symptomatic hypermobile person
- 30 minutes of practical - working with the audience.
After this the audience will have the opportunity to ask her any questions live too!
This session will be run on Zoom.
We look forward to seeing you there! (You will be sent an email with a link to the event within a few hours, so please check your junk/spam folder if you can't see it.)
