About the Event
Dr Jessica Eccles, one of our Clinical Advisors, and a leading expert in this field will share research, information and learning about Hypermobility and Long Covid. Dr Jessica Eccles was the lead author of new research from academics from King’s College London and Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) which found that people with joint hypermobility are 30% more likely to suffer from long COVID. “Our study shows, for the first time, that the presence of generalised joint hypermobility (GJH) is a risk factor for long COVID, and that those with hypermobility are likely to have even greater levels of fatigue.”
Come to this session to find out more.
Jessica Eccles, is a senior clinical academic psychiatrist at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and specialist in brain-body neuroscience and led the first neuroimaging study of hypermobility.
This session will be run on Zoom. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
We look forward to seeing you there! (You will be sent an email with a link to the event within a few hours, so please check your junk/spam folder if you can't see it.)
